Our Policies

All reservations require at least a 50% advance deposit. Advance deposits may be paid by Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express. If you are not paying your advance reservation by credit card, we will hold your reservation for 7 days in order for you to forward a check. Please be advised that our office must receive all checks a full 7 business days prior to your arrival. No checks are accepted upon arrival.

Holiday weekends require a three-night minimum stay. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the weather. We will not be able to refund moneys for shortened stays. If you have an emergency and must leave early, please ask about rescheduling your visit. We would be happy to try to accomodate you on a different date. The higher rate would apply. One-night reservations are not accepted from June 12th through September 30, 2009 or on weekends. However, when one-night reservations are accepted, the deposit amount is 100%.

Cancellation Policy
Guests that cancel their reservation 14 days or more prior to their arrival date will receive a full refund of their deposit (50% for 2 or more nights, 100% for 1 night stays). Guests that cancel between 13 and five days prior to their arrival date will be assessed a $50.00 processing fee. Guests who cancel fewer than five days prior to their arrival date, or fail to cancel, will forfeit their deposit of 50% if they have booked for 2 or more nights; 1 night reservations will forfeit 100% of their deposit. If a guest did not put down a deposit, their credit card will be charged.

The MV Surfside Motel will make every effort to honor special requests (such as first floor, ocean view, etc) when you reserve a room. However, the availability of these requests cannot be guaranteed in advance. Special requests will not be guaranteed by a reservation agent.
