except for the Woods Hole ferries are passenger only. If you
plan to bring a car to the island you will leave from Woods

By Car to the Ferries

New York: To New Bedford: Take I-95 to Providence; take
I-195 East. To Falmouth and Woods Hole: Continue from New
Bedford on
I-195 East; take Route 25 East (I-195 South); cross over the
Bourne Bridge; follow Route 28 South to Falmouth and Woods
Hole. To Hyannis: Continue from New Bedford on I-195 East,
take Route
25 East (I-495 South) and then follow Route 6.
From Boston: Take Route 3 to the Sagamore Bridge. To Hyannis: Follow
Route 6 East. To Falmouth and Woods Hole: Take Route 6 West, cross
the Bourne Bridge and follow Route 28 South.

Directions to the Surfside Motel

y Car: From the Oak Bluffs ferry dock you will go straight on
Oak Bluffs Avenue and the Motel is on your right just 100 yards
from the ferry dock. After checking in you will be directed to
our Guest Parking behind the Motel. From the Vineyard Haven ferry
dock you will be directed to the left onto Water Street. Proceed
to the stop sign in the five corner intersection and take a left.
Take Beach Road as it winds along the beach and follow the signs
to Oak Bluffs center. Once in Oak Bluffs, take a left just past
the Flying Horse Carousel and you will see the Motel directly
in front of you on Oak Bluffs Avenue.

Foot or Bicycle: From the Oak Bluffs ferry dock you will go
straight and see the Motel about 100 yards ahead of you on the
right side of Oak Bluffs Avenue.
