Fun Activities on Martha’s Vineyard
One of the most enjoyable activities on the island is visiting the array of art galleries. Martha’s Vineyard has 40 different galleries that fill each of the Vineyard’s six towns. So, whether you are spending the day in Oak Bluffs or Edgartown, you will find a wide selection of art galleries to appease the artful eye. Beyond just a place to browse and admire, the galleries often offer artist receptions and discussions to learn more about the artists and understand their inspiration. Plus, visitors can enjoy ongoing eye-popping exhibits at the Martha’s Vineyard Museum.
The ARTS District in Oak Bluffs is a collection of galleries and shops located along Dukes County Avenue and Vineyard Avenue, just one mile from Martha’s Vineyard Surfside Hotel.
