Exploring Martha’s Vineyard

It’s no secret the best way to navigate Martha’s Vineyard is by way of bike. For many, biking Martha’s Vineyard is fun activity that offers exercise, an easy way to see a lot of the island and can be enjoyed nearly year-round.

Take a tour of our neighborhoods with the Edgartown, Oak Bluffs, Vineyard Haven Loop. This 16-mile path winds past shops, restaurants, and plenty of places to stop and enjoy a glass of wine or a bottle of beer. Six miles of this route, known as Beach Road, passes through some of the most scenic landscape on the island with views of State Beach and Sengekontacket Pond.

Beach Road eventually turns into Seaview Ave. as you head towards Oak Bluffs, which runs right to Martha’s Vineyard Surfside Hotel. And right next door to us is the All Star Martha’s Vineyard Bike Rentals where you can rent bikes for all your biking adventures.

For a challenge, take the full Martha’s Vineyard biking tour. See most of the island on this 62-mile cruiser that winds past historic streets, neighborhoods, beaches, and eventually out to the Aquinnah Cliffs.
