Beaches near Oak Bluffs

Lake Tashmoo Town Beach in Vineyard Haven is popular with snorkelers and features warmer and shallow waters. Also, Vineyard Haven, Owen Park Beach, and Tisbury Town Beach are best known for their calm, warm waters.

Best for families

The Fuller Street Beach in Edgartown is great for the entire family, where you can enjoy calm waters and picnicking. One of the most popular beaches on the island is Katama Beach, also known as South Beach.

Note: Some beaches are public, and some require a beach permit. Permits can be obtained through the local town hall.
