If you plan on visiting Joseph Sylvia State Beach, dogs are free to roam the shore from October 1 – March 31. Dogs are not allowed on the beach from April 1 – August 31 due to bird nesting season. If you’re planning a visit in September, dogs are welcome to join you for a sunrise or sunset walk anytime before 9 AM and after 5 PM!
